8.5 Technology Transfer between Countries
Several programmes and policies exist that can promote the transfer of transport
technologies between countries, because most of such activities are between
countries rather than within countries. There are also barriers that may impede
transfers between countries, because of the varying conditions among the different
countries and regions of the world.
