15.2 Current and Future Adaptation Needs in Coastal Zones
In the 21st century and beyond, climate change can have important impacts
on coastal zones. The magnitude of these impacts and hence the need for adaptation
and technology transfer will depend on the magnitude of climate change and the
interaction of climate change with other stresses. This section discusses both
factors.
