Azni Zain Ahmed is the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic & International) at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in Malaysia. She was a Lead Author of Chapter 9 on "Buildings" of the Working Group III contribution to the Fifth Assessment Report.
Andrew Githeko, was a Lead Author of Chapter 9 on "Africa" of the Working Group II contribution to the Fourth Assessment Report. He was also a Coordinating Lead Author of Chapter 9 on "Human Health" and a Lead Author of Chapter 10 on "Africa" of the Working Group II
contribution to the Third Assessment Report. He is a Chief Researcher at the Kenya Medical Institute working the effects of climate and environmental change on malaria in the Western Kenya Highlands
Matilde Rusticucci is a doctor in atmospheric sciences at the University of Buenos Aries. She was a Coordinating Lead Author of Chapter 2 on "Observations: Atmosphere and Surface" of the Working Group I contribution to the Fifth Assessment Report. She a Lead Author on Chapter 3 on "Observations: Surface and Atmospheric Climate Change"
of the Working Group I contribution to the Fourth Assessment Report. She was also part of the Core Writing Team of the Synthesis Report for the Fourth and Fifth Assessment Reports.
Sixth Assessment cycle
The IPCC is currently in its Sixth Assessment cycle. During this cycle, the Panel will produce three Special Reports, a Methodology Report and the Sixth Assessment Report (AR6).
