Authors: Joyce E. Penner (professor in
the Department of Atmospheric, Oceanic, and Space Sciences at
the University of Michigan. Prior to that she served as Division
Leader of the Global Climate Research Division at the Lawrence
Livermore National Laboratory. She is an Associate Editor for
the Journal of Geophysical Research and the Journal of Climate.
She has served on several scientific advisory committees, including
the National Academy of Sciences Atmospheric Chemistry Committee
and the National Academy of Sciences Panel on Aerosol Forcing
and Climate Change. She has served as Secretary of the Atmospheric
Sciences Section of the American Geophysical Union), David
H. Lister (Technical Manager in the Propulsion Department
of the UK Defence Research and Evaluation Agency (DERA). He has
served as Project Manager in the European Community AERONOX program,
as a member of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences/National
Research Council Panel on Atmospheric Effects of Stratospheric
Aircraft, as Chairman of ICAO/CAEP/WG3 (emissions) Technology
and Certification Subgroup, and as lead author in the World Meteorological
Organization's Scientific Assessment of Ozone Depletion (1994))
David J. Griggs (Head of the IPCC Working Group I Technical
Support Unit at the Hadley Centre, UK Meteorological Office),
David J. Dokken (Project Administrator of the IPCC Working
Group II Technical Support Unit, Washington, DC, USA) and Mack
McFarland (Principal Scientist in Environmental Programs at
DuPont Fluoroproducts, Wilmington, DE, USA).
